Our commitment to business has always revolved around empowering locally-owned businesses with dedicated technologies that large corporations simply couldn't replicate at a local level. This dedication is our primary business passion. But what about our personal passion? As you may infer from our company's name, our personal faith plays a central role in our lives.
As the dust began to settle after the COVID-19 pandemic, we were all confronted with new challenges – a nation divided and a tech-driven social media landscape becoming increasingly aggressive. Like many others, we grew emotionally weary of the time spent on the common social platforms and became even more concerned about the influence it has on our children. Does main stream social platforms leave you depressed, anxious, lonely, and a little disgusted after scrolling through your feeds, too?
In late 2022, a spiritual vision unfolded that we will forever hold dear to our souls. The idea was to make a bold change and express the Christian faith into the community platform technologies we were already deeply passionate about. Throughout late 2022 and 2023, we dedicated ourselves to creating what we now know was no doubt, a divine calling – the neighbZ platform. It's an all-inclusive platform comprising our proprietary technology designed to unite the community under the umbrella of Christ-centered data and information.
The neighbZ platform offers users access to local family centered events, positive local news, Christian-based national news, local job listings, and a wealth of special features for the cherished mom-and-pop businesses in each community – all available for free! You may wonder, "How do we sustain this for free?" We will NOT entertain national advertisers, we don't charge users for access, and we don't impose fees on businesses for featuring on our platform. Our revenue model is twofold: at our base, we wholeheartedly trust in God's provision, and we've introduced completely optional, special features at an affordable cost for local businesses to further enhance their presence. To be clear, we never charge any business for comprehensive inclusion on our platform, and we give a plethora of free features within their free business listings to make them easily discoverable by locals. Our completely optional special features are available to locally owned businesses to further empower them if they freely choose to.
While pride is certainly NOT a Christian virtue, we will readily admit that we feel a little pride in our creation, the neighbZ platform. We are honored to bring it to the market after being inspired by a powerful God given vision. We believe that your experience with our platform will be deeply rewarding.
